Placing an order for card printing can sometimes be intimidating, especially when you don&#8217;t know the jargon and procedures for it. We hope that you find placing an order here at CardPrinting.com an easy thing to do. We welcome your feedback and look forward to serving you.<\/p>\n<div>Here is a list of questions that you should be able to answer when placing a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cardprinting.com\/product\/plastic-card\/custom-gift-cards\">gift card<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cardprinting.com\/category\/plastic-card\">plastic printing<\/a> order.<br \/>\n<!--paragraph text--><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Which product would you like to order<\/li>\n<li>How many do you need?<\/li>\n<li>Is there color to be printed on the back of the card?<\/li>\n<li>Do you have more than one artwork to print? If yes, how many?<\/li>\n<li>Will you have a magnetic stripe on your card? If yes, on which track do we encode?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you don\u2019t know the answers to some of the questions, don\u2019t worry, we\u2019re here to help where we can. There is a handy online chat available from 8 AM to 6 PM eastern, and the &#8220;Contact Us&#8221; form is there anytime. We respond to that as quickly as possible, generally within 24 hours on a business day.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"h2p\">Which product would you like to order?<\/h2>\n<p>We hope that you landed on our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cardprinting.com\/\">home page<\/a> when you arrived at CardPrinting.com. If not, then it&#8217;s easy to get there, just click on the CardPrinting.com logo located at the top left on the page header, or click this link: <a href=\"\/\/cardprinting.com\">www.cardprinting.com<\/a>. That will get you to our home page, where you can see the product categories located below the banner.<\/p>\n<p>Choose which category of products you are interested in, and then choose which product you\u2019d like to order when you are on the category page that lists the available products.<\/p>\n<p>You should now be on your product\u2019s information page, where you can get an abundance of information about your product, along with pricing if you\u2019re \u201cjust looking\u201d and order if you\u2019re ready to go.<\/p>\n<p><!--pull quote--><\/p>\n<div class=\"pullq-dividertop\"><\/div>\n<blockquote><p>Power User Tip:<br \/>\nThere is a wealth of information in the tabbed box below the product information: Product specifications,<br \/>\ntemplates, frequently asked questions (FAQ), ideas, tips and more.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"pullq-dividerbot\"><\/div>\n<h2 class=\"h2p\">How many cards do you need?<\/h2>\n<p>You\u2019d think that this is really easy, right? Well \u2026 it is, mostly. The thing that many people don\u2019t know is to always OVER order when you are ordering custom printing. Most people think they are saving money by ordering \u201cthe minimum\u201d (in our case, 500 pieces). That is often not the most economical decision. For example, choosing the next quantity level up now (in this case, 1000 cards) is less than one-tenth the cost of ordering another 500 cards months into the future.<\/p>\n<p><!--pull quote--><\/p>\n<div class=\"pullq-dividertop\"><\/div>\n<blockquote><p>Power User Tip:<br \/>\nCheck the different quantity prices. You may find an advantageous price break.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"pullq-dividerbot\"><\/div>\n<h2 class=\"h2p\">Is there color to be printed on the back of the card?<\/h2>\n<p>If only black ink printing will suffice for the back of the card, choose \u201cBlack Ink\u201d for the back of the card.<\/p>\n<p><!--pull quote--><\/p>\n<div class=\"pullq-dividertop\"><\/div>\n<blockquote><p>Power User Tip:<br \/>\nIf you don\u2019t need color printed on the back of the card, you can save yourself a little money by choosing \u201cblack ink only\u201d for the back of the card.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"pullq-dividerbot\"><\/div>\n<h2 class=\"h2p\">Do you have more than one artwork to print? If yes, how many?<\/h2>\n<p>We call these \u201cart versions\u201d or \u201cplate changes.\u201d You may print more than one art design within your order. There is an additional charge, starting at $150 per additional art version. If you have only one art version to print, there is no additional charge.<\/p>\n<p><!--pull quote--><\/p>\n<div class=\"pullq-dividertop\"><\/div>\n<blockquote><p>Power User Tip:<br \/>\nYou can combine 2 or more different art designs in the same product order.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"pullq-dividerbot\"><\/div>\n<h2 class=\"h2p\">Will you have a magnetic stripe on your card?<\/h2>\n<p>If the answer is no, then you\u2019re home free! You have all the information we need for you to place your order. If the answer is yes, we\u2019ll need to know a little more information, and we suggest you read our \u201cComplete Beginner\u2019s Guide to Magnetic Stripes\u201d for a more in-depth explanation.<\/p>\n<p>Answering these questions will get you well on your way to placing your order online. Don\u2019t forget, we have our online chat, and our \u201cContact Us\u201d form for assistance.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"h2p\">What happens next?<\/h2>\n<p>Now that we\u2019ve reviewed the information you\u2019re going to need to place an order, here\u2019s what will happen next.<\/p>\n<p>You click on \u201cSubmit Order.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The next screen asks about artwork for your order.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You may upload your artwork at this point.<\/li>\n<li>If you don\u2019t have finished artwork, you may choose to upload it later.<\/li>\n<li>If you have no idea what artwork is and how to create it, you may <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cardprinting.com\/design-services\">hire a designer from our art department<\/a> to create it for you, at very reasonable prices!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Once you settle the artwork question, the site shows a summary of your order. If the details are correct, you can move on to making your payment.<\/p>\n<p>After having received your paid order, and your artwork, you will be notified of an online art proof available for you to review and approve within a business day. (Weekdays, excluding holidays).<\/p>\n<p>Your online proof will need to be reviewed and approved (or declined, stating necessary changes). We send you a new art proof.
